Education & Experience
My journey into equine nutrition began when one of my own horses started losing weight and I didn’t know how to safely help them gain it back. That experience led me to earn a degree in Equine Management from Parkland College and later my Equine Nutrition Advisor certificate through Legacy Equine. What started as a personal challenge turned into a passion for helping other horse owners navigate nutrition with clarity and confidence.
Services
My Approach
As a horse owner, lesson instructor, and someone who also works a full-time job, I know that horses are expensive. My goal is to help owners feed effectively and affordably, without unnecessary supplements or complicated programs.
I work with all types of horses—from performance horses to lesson horses to retired seniors—focusing on practical solutions that support long-term health, comfort, and performance.
What We
Offer
Nutrition Consult
A complete review of your horse’s current feed program. Whether your horse needs a small adjustment or a full change, I’ll help you determine what makes the most sense for the horse in front of you—or confirm that what you’re already doing is working well.
90-Day Nutrition Program
A fully personalized nutrition plan with support over 90 days. This includes weekly check-ins to track progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure your horse is responding well to their program. A complimentary hay analysis is included.
Nutrition Clinics
Educational nutrition clinics for barns, riding programs, or equine groups. These clinics are designed to be practical and easy to understand, covering topics like reading feed tags, understanding supplements, and feeding horses with different needs.
Supplement Review
Not all supplements are created equal, and more isn’t always better. I’ll review your horse’s supplements to make sure they’re truly doing their job and are worth the cost, helping you avoid spending money on products your horse doesn’t need.
Hay Analysis
Hay is the foundation of every horse’s diet. I’ll collect the hay sample, submit it to the lab, and review the results with you so you clearly understand what nutrients your horse is getting and how that affects their overall feeding program.
Barn Nutrition Programs
A simplified, barn-wide nutrition program designed to make feeding easy for staff and stress-free for boarders. I work with barn owners to streamline the feed room and create a program that meets the needs of a wide range of horses.
